United States, Arizona, Yavapai County, Bradshaw Mountains, Big Bug District, Poland, Lynx Creek, Accidental Mine

The Accidental Mine is a gold mine and is located deep within the Bradshaw Mountains. The mine is very hard to access. It requires a 3 mile hike up hill and the mine entrance is hidden in brush. The main shaft of the mine is about half a mile long and the first 500 feet is flooded. There are still mine cart tracks and some buildings but most are ruins. We detected carbon monoxide in this mine and had to leave before further exploring.
